It’s always good to know where to turn for help when the pressure is on. That’s one of the benefits of the partnership programmes offered by many ERP vendors. As users reach key points in their implementation or upgrade programmes, they can turn to the vendor and their partner network for help.
That’s what happened recently, when a UK-based manufacturer of machines for the packaging industry approached the go-live date for their IFS applications. As they neared the end of their yearlong IFS implementation, they needed immediate access to report writing skills.
The company turned to IFS for help, who in turn reached out to Anthesis as a key UK partner. Within two days we had a specialist in IFS report writing onsite, creating the management information outputs needed by the business.
Having been introduced to Anthesis through the partner network, and impressed by the quality of the ERP consultant provided, the company chose to strengthen its relationship.
The scope of the consultant’s work was expanded beyond the original reporting requirements and he continues to support the business. He looks set to be involved in the roll-out of the IFS applications to the firm’s US-based operations.
When a key member of the company’s finance team chose to leave, Anthesis supplied a second consultant into the business for a three-month engagement. A qualified accountant and IFS financials specialist, his role is to support the finance team as the IFS applications settle down post go-live.
Partnership working is at the heart of the Anthesis approach to doing business, which is why we have invested in becoming a recognised IFS partner. This relationship offers significant benefits to all those it touches: IFS, Anthesis and, most importantly, the client.
